A Healthy Mouth Requires Maintenance
At Giesler Dental, we recommend all patients attend routine dental hygiene and/or periodontal maintenance appointments. This enables us to clean the patient's teeth, discuss oral hygiene, and check for any dental issues.
Treatment of Gum Disease With Our Periodontal Treatments
Any structure is only as good as its foundation; your teeth are no different. Periodontics encompasses the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the supporting and surrounding tissues of the teeth. In cases with advanced gum disease, a procedure called scaling and root planing may be necessary to restore full health to the surrounding tissues of the teeth. At Giesler Dental, we incorporate the use of ozonated water and ozone gas along with scaling and root planing to attack the bacteria that causes periodontal disease and promote healing of the gum tissue and periodontal pockets.
Flouride Options
At Giesler Dental, we believe a healthy, cavity free mouth is possible without extensive use of in-house fluoride. If our patients do their part with home care and diet, they can be cavity free without fluoride use.
